Hermes Defi

Dear DFYN community,

Join me in welcoming @valleyrider from Hermes DeFi :)

Bhavin:- The first question for you, Can you introduce us to Hermes DeFi?

valleyrider:- Yes of course, no problem. I will try to explain it as simple and direct as possible, I hope not to be heavy with the answers. Hermes Defi is a platform currently settled in Polygon, soon in other blockchains (thanks friends of Router), we are specialized in the DeFi sector and during the last weeks we have also launched into the NFTs world through our Hermes Heroes collection (we will also develop a Marketplace within 2 weeks).
In both sectors but especially in DeFi we try to bring new ideas and different concepts to what is usually known always with the approval and advice of our community, in a quick way you could say that these are the columns on which our platform is based.

Bhavin:- Awesome! Can you enlight us more with what Hermes DeFi is trying to achieve? Please reply with ‘Done’, once you complete your answer :)

valleyrider:- We try to bring to DeFi, something “safe, transparent and fast”. As our slogan says. We think that the decentralized economy is at the forefront of the new ideas and concepts on which our economy will be based in the next 5–10 years and we want to be part of it from now on. Developing and understanding each of the mechanisms that govern it. This early positioning will allow us in the long term to establish our project as one of the visible heads in this new world. Unfortunately, like any new and incipient idea, there is a great risk associated with it, since the markets are still unstable and not everyone has the same knowledge to manage it. That is where we come in from the beginning we want to provide a transparent environment where investors know where their money is being managed (blessed blockchain), a safe environment where the contracts where your funds are deposited are clear and clean and fast with a team prepared for this dynamic and changing environment with the head always ready to recycle and adopt new points of view. Done.

Bhavin:- Awesome!👍 Moving on to the next question. Can you share/explain the Tokenomics?

valleyrider:- Yes of course, I’ll talk a bit about our two tokens, but I’ll focus on the technical aspects of APOLLO. I start with our first IRIS token.

IRIS is the Hermes Defi governance token.
This will not be its only use but I will explain how we will make sense of this function.
To give our investors the possibility to make decisions we will have two tools connected to each other.
The first one will be through the Snapshot system where investors can propose actions to be taken and the team will go to them to decide on key points in the direction of the project. 1 token = 1 vote so the more IRIS you own the more votes you will have and the more your opinion will weigh more.
The second through the Hermes treasury, during the last weeks we have been creating a wallet that houses IRIS and USDC, we are filling this wallet taxing all the movements we do as a project. Be it through collaborations, NFTs, presales like the one we are having right now. This is making us host a large number of funds inside that through Snapshot investors will have the possibility to decide what to do with them.

The other uses are
IRIS will always have dividends allocated in stable currency
IRIS will be the currency of payment in our marketplace.
IRIS will be present on any platform associated with Hermes Defi with the possibility of being staked.

Regarding APOLLO and its tokenomics, we can talk about the following:

It is a token designed to have a short life, about 3 weeks and give way in an advantageous way with respect to investors who do not own it to our final L3 in Polygon.
It is deflationary in nature due to its low average emission, but with nuances.
We have designed 5 different emission sections to attract a constant flow of liquidity to the project.
Sections
4.1 for 15 minutes
4.0 for 2 hours
0.4 for first week
0.5 for second week
0.6 for third week
As you can see the issue will be very high at the beginning in order to attract a large amount of funds so that the project can make a large reinvestment in itself and provide new profitability mechanisms to our investors.
The fees go hand in hand in this case as the emission reduces so do the fees.
Finally we have made a token with transaction fees of 3% where 1% goes directly to burn (to mitigate the selling power of the issue) and 2% is returned to investors who hold it in their wallet through our new bank.

Done.

Bhavin:- Sounds good!👍 Moving forward to next question. How is the system different and why should one invest in Hermes DeFi?

valleyrider:- Well first I will share an image of what our system will look like in this Layer and then comment on it.

valleyrider:- As you can see in the picture our L2 system will be a mixture of typical farming but in a special way, as investors will have the possibility to leverage their position in a big way, I explain.
During layer 1 we developed a system where for depositing your favorite LP, you would receive a token “ticket” as a receipt of which part of the vault belongs to you. Well, what we did was to collaborate with projects that provided us with their tokens for creating the vault and make the typical staking pool where for entering your token ticket you would earn another APR in addition to the tokens of our collaborators. Well all this was great APR + APR. Very high profitability. But what if you introduce those token tickets as pools in your masterchef and you can control the amount of your native token that they receive through the multipliers and obviously control the emission of it? It gives you a much bigger and dynamic control over your project. And that’s what we did. Add those tokens as pools. So investors earn the APR of having the vault autocompensating + APR of the APOLLO emission. But we thought what if we add a contract where people can be rewarded for depositing their APOLLO and the longer they deposit it the more rewards they get? Well we created the bank that works like that, you deposit your APOLLO obtained from depositing your token ticket from your vault, and your reward is generated in stable (hi IRON finance guys, you will have more news).
So what was before a double APR. Now it is a triple.
Vault APR + APOLLO emission APR + bank APR.

Done

Bhavin:- Cool!💫Moving on to the last question of this round. What are the Future plans and Vision of Hermes DeFi?

valleyrider:- What we want to solve as I said before is the problem that the general public has that decentralized finance is a dark and complicated world.
We want to make it accessible to everyone and open so that more and more people can enter it.
Create a friendly community where everyone is informed about how to manage their money and can find people with the same concerns.
To bring decentralized finance into regular conversations in the “real world” and make people more aware of the possibilities they have with their money without having to depend on a totally centralizing entity.

This is our long-term vision and where we want to be in the next few years, we hope to achieve it through partners such as DFYN or Router who bring these issues to the table and bet so strongly on this type of technology.

Done

Bhavin:- Awesome!

Welcome @Add_ith as well from Hermes DeFi :)

We will now start with the 2nd round of the AMA ✅
We will unmute the chat for few mins :)
Best 3 questions will win 1 NFT each 🥳

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

valleyrider :- Okay guys over 180 questions in I don’t know, 3 minutes?

Bhavin:- In less than 90 seconds… Please feel free to select and answer the questions. Also at the end, please select best 3 question that will win the NFT 💰

valleyrider :- We will be answering without much order, seeing a little bit the ones that call our attention the most. Thanks for so much feedback guys.

Question 1:

Alyssa:- Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project / company. What is the way to generate profit / revenue of token? What is the income model?

Aadith:- [In reply to Alyssa]
That’s a good one I think , cash flow into the project is important as much as the value of the token is assumed to be ,if you’re into traditional investment you will get it.
But this stays the same for all company and projects. We currently are planning to have 3 days for cash inflow , 1) zap dex to tap liquidity over from dfyn and planning to expand more
2) the taxed token
3) vault fee and targeting broad audience
This combined way will bring money and we’re trying to add more like nft marketplace and other utilities too

Question 2:

Xuân Nguyen:- Do the token holders have the right to participate in the governance of the project? What kind of decisions can they vote on about the project?

valleyrider:- [In reply to Xuân Nguyen]
Yes, many times people are guilty of filling their mouths with big words and pretty words in the long run with what comes next.
I’m going to give you a little tour of what awaits us in the short-medium term.
-Governance for IRIS
-First new blockhain we will go to apart from Polygon (decided by the community)
-Marketplace
These are 3 things you can expect from Hermes Defi in the next 2- 3 weeks

Question 3:

Siddhant Chowdhry:- Collaborations and partnerships are some of the most important cornerstones to help improve adoption. Can you tell us about your current partners, plans for partnerships and what everybody stands to gain from these partnerships?

Aadith:- [In reply to Siddhant Chowdhry]
Yes true .
With dfyn & router were having good partnership for some time. With router iris will be cross chain and will add a good feature to iris , and we’re putting our liquidity on dfyn for l2 and adding a zap dex on dfyn for people in Hermes to swap coin from the window by accessing dfyn’s liquidity we plan and Trying to expand and add other pairs from other swaps.
Dfyn & router community will have an access directly with their token to Hermes layer 2 and vault to get apollo

Question 4:

Ricarda Cooney:- Can I buy your tokens right now and also which wallet support your token..?What is your revenue model? In which ways do your platform generate revenue/profit?

valleyrider:- [In reply to Ricarda Cooney]
Right now we are in a pre-sale process that started just 5 hours ago.
Our APOLLO token will be issued as follows
We take out pAPOLLO which is 25% of the APOLLO supply.
And then we exchange it 1:1 for APOLLO.
This 25% is divided in 2 rounds.
The first round as I said before was 5h ago and held 37% of the tokens, the purchase was 50% IRIS 50% USDC with a discount on the price of round 2. It was all sold in less than 5 minutes.
Today at 22 UTC we have the second round with 63% of the remaining tokens, the purchase will be 20% IRIS 80% USDC. We will see how long it will last.
After both are completed. APOLLO / USDC liquidity will be added with 50% of the proceeds from the pre-sale a price higher than the pre-sale ensuring the profits of all participants in it from the first moment.
